Many things done, many things to do...

So the weather's taken a turn for the colder, and it feels slightly that Dementors are slowly approaching.
Following an earlier promise in my last entry that I would write more of these... it's sort of working! An entry every 2 months is a better record than one every 11 :') Life has been very hectic though. University things are still happening in the background, for instance I recently finished a portfolio of shtuff to send to universities (which I sent today! Yay!) and now I just have to wait to hear from them. Anxious times!
Also recently finished maths coursework and chemistry investigation draft (real thing due on Monday - know what I'm doing this weekend). Oh that reminds me, I have a chemistry test tomorrow. Oops. Hmm. Well nothing substantial can be done now really, and to be honest I've been dealing with more important things... determining my future! Although it will look odd if I do badly after just having Parents' Evening where the chem department think I'm doing well. I'll do some cramming tonight.
Just looking out the window, the autumnal colours are really lovely. Get those cameras and take photos people! Might go for a walk one lunch to do so, that would be a nice break.

Hey everyone!
This summer is fantastic. Does anyone else think so? The sun and the outings and the holidays... awesome. Been on a music tour about a month ago to Slovenia and Italy which was a great experience. Lots of "tour couples" were made
Then we popped up to Scotland to see the family (hence many uploaded photos).
Even though it's the holiday, there's SO. MUCH. WORK. Like this project on jazz I'm doing, university research/application stuff... argh. Because of the increased workload over the last few years I don't really have much time to do in depth art, partly because I get distracted easily. Very easily. So I'm restricting myself to photography. Watch this space!
Can't believe school's starting again in less than two weeks. I sure hope it's not as hot as this when we go back! Good thing I'm dropping Biology. Man I cannot stand that subject any more. It'll be one less thing to worry about as I've got my clarinet diploma coming up (yaaayy...)
Promise to do more entries here!

5 Months Later...

...and I'm having a digital art phase because of my art GCSE mock. I want to do a space ship, but I'm not sure whether I should paint the background (I'd use acrylic) or do it in photoshop. Am I even allowed to do it in photoshop? I must ask... although my art teacher is being annoying and picky so I'd better ask someone else.
I'm also having a clearing-out phase of my deviations partly because I want to fill my gallery up with more, cool new space-y ones. Give me a month, I'm sure I'll be over this phase!
I'm in another BYMT band! And after 3 rehearsals I still can't play the pieces.

8 Months Later....

...from my last journal entry. Wow o.O
Righty-ho I'd guess I'd better mention the epicness of the last 8 months, being my cousin's wedding in January, my trip to Venice with my choir in late March, and the fact that some of my GCSE exams are a month away. Ah FUDGE.
Clearly I HAVE been studying. But just a lil bit. Need to do a heck of a lot more.
We had Academic Tutoring Day today. Meaning: no normal lessons, weird workshops, and getting my grades for how I'm doing. And I'm officially failing Art. Great.
I'm really thinking that I should have stuck to Music. Meaning yes, I was intimidated when Dr Parsons gave me evils at Year 9 Parents' Evening when it came out I wasn't doing GCSE Music.
Though he can't say anything now. I mean, after singing the girl's part of Barbie Girl at the karaoke night on our tour to Prague in 2008, and turning up to the 'Masked Ball' on our tour to Venice in a tuxedo ... and a what-looked-like a paper-mache-with-fur lion mask.
I'm sounding really satirical today. Meh. I might make it as a satirical comedienne. What's pay like?

Yeah lol I went up to London to meet our partnered French buddies and to amble along the South Bank and look at cool stalls and buy relatively nothing. I did buy some 'mum <3' some for my (duh?!) mum and some chocolate marshmallow which is GORGEOUS!!! 100g is certainly not enough.
